The Pierre, A Taj Hotel, New York

Our family visited for my sister’s 30th birthday. The hotel is incredible - and the staff goes beyond expectations. Everyone is nice, attentive, professional and always happy to help. Rooms are beautifully decor dated and the Central Park view is unbelievable. Special shoutout to the Perrine team, especially Carmine, Massimo and Angelo + Victor for dinner. You guys rock! Special thanks also to the rest of the staff for making our stay so memorable and taking such good care of us. Also special shoutout to John and Jabir at the door and lobby. At the reception, Medvei for the smooth check-in and Kevens for the late check out. And special thanks to everyone else working at the elevators: Doris, Bisera and Mary… and also the other ladies. YOU GUYS ARE SO AMAZING! Having been to many hotels in NYC including Peninsula, Mandarin Oriental, JW Essex House, Baccarat, nothing comes close to the exceptional service of the Pierre. BEST HOTEL IN THE CITY BY FAR! The service was just perfect. THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY SISTERS 30TH BDAY SO MEMORABLE. We will be back very soon!

The location was excellent

Location perfect, staff wonderful, (especially the concierge), breakfast outstanding. The hotel is beautiful, but the room was a little bit disappointing. We paid for a park view, but you could only see the park from one side of the room and not from the bed. Only city view visible from the bed, so that kind of dashed my dreams of lying in bed with a beautiful park view for a relaxing morning. When I asked to be moved, they said that all the rooms are like that, (facing the same direction) and would not show us any other room. I would bet that is not actually the case, as in most hotels the rooms are back-to-back (beds facing in opposite directions). On the other hand, they were very nice in the restaurant about giving us breakfast late as we had arrived very late at night and needed to sleep in. Overall, we still loved it and would stay there again as it was such a great location, quiet and elegant, and the concierge suggested great places for lunch and dinner and activities.

From the perfect location on Fifth Avenue directly across from Central Park to the exquisite flowers in the lobby and in our room, no detail was overlooked at The Pierre. The professionals across the board were warm and helpful. Our room was lovely and the bed was so comfy. We hope to become repeat guests at this lovely property.

The location was great to get to Central Park. Room and bedding were super comfortable. The concierge was friendly and helpful in making reservations and providing recommendations.
